A BIT ABOUT US

Being utterly in love with pretty things, perfectly solved typography, gorgeous paper, brilliant colour and bright pattern, few things beat a busy day in our sunny studio. Here we spend our days dreaming up whimsical stationery design, chatting to brides and grooms (we also have a bespoke wedding stationery service), and ensuring our production runs terrifically smooth. In design we look towards the fresh, contemporary, engaging and beautiful – making sure every design is both memorable and unique. And together with our hand-picked, reliable suppliers, we take great care in choosing all of our paper stock, printing and finishing methods to ensure the designs come to life in a way that’s elegant and beautiful.

OUR STUDIO

Our design studio is based in the Cape Town CBD. We run a bespoke design studio and unfortunately have no shop front just yet, so collections and pop ins by appointment only.

CUSTOM ORDERS

Unfortunately we do NOT offer Custom Orders for prints. Due to the hot foil process, a metal plate/stamp is made for each design. Therefore custom orders (custom phrases, colors, etc) are not viable. 

REPAIR/REPLACE

While we check and make sure that every product heading out of our studio is perfectly beautiful, all items are handmade and sometimes little niggles could occur.  We will replace any Seven Swans item for free within 3 months of purchase if the problem is due to a manufacturing fault. 

PACKAGING

We want to ensure that your purchase reaches you in perfect condition so we take great care when packaging our products. Kindly let us know if your purchase doesn't reach you in perfect condition! 

HANDMADE

We take great pride in the fact that our products are locally printed (mostly by hand), using quality materials and only the best suppliers. The hands on nature of letterpress, foiling and framing means that slight variations in colour and finish could occur. This adds greatly to the character and charm of our hand made products.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

It really is so important to us that our customers are happy with their purchases. If you receive any products that you are unhappy with (damaged, faulty or incorrect), you may contact us within 1 weeks of receiving it and we will offer you a store credit of the item. Products returned or exchanged must be unused  and undamaged. We shall have no obligation to accept any products that we receive after the expiration of the applicable return period.  Please be aware that any purchases made with store credits are processed as a new order and standard postage costs and delivery times will apply. Only once we receive the returned items, and inspect the goods, can we issue your refund. You are responsible for postage costs of returning the item. We recommend using registered mail to return items, as we are not liable for any items lost in the post. 

LOCAL ORDERS

We do have a studio in Cape Town, so if you are based in the area you are welcome to select collection as the shipping option. You will then be notified once your order has been completed and is ready for you to collect, free of charge. We also ship nationwide for an additional R45 per parcel. Shipping is free for local orders over R1000. Please note we cannot deliver to a PO Box and will need a physical address and contact number for all shipping within South Africa. The payment must be made before the order can be processed and manufactured.

We process our orders on Mondays and Thursdays which means we ship goodies out on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please allow 2-3 days for shipping.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

All items are priced in South African Rands (ZAR). For international orders please visit our Etsy store.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Seven Swans accepts payment with PayPal, PayFast and EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).  PayPal: Note that you are not obliged to have a PayPal account to pay by credit card. Please visit their websites for information on PayPal payments. (Please note that an additional service fee of up to 5% are charged by these payment gateways.) EFT: If you select this option, our banking details will be provided after checkout. Please use the Reference Number on your invoice as your banking reference, and send through proof of payment as directed.
